Our first Interview!
This week we where lucky enough to get an opportunity to sit down and chat with Barbara McGuildry a client with Winton and Co.
In her previous work she had been employed working in the banking service. She now works as a Celebrant. We had prepared some questions for Barbara in advance and she was good enough to answer them as well as any that came up as a result of her answers.
Why did you pick Winton and Co to be your accountants?
- They where recommended to her and as they are a small firm they offer the sort or personalised service she likes. She finds them very responsive and always have time for any questions she may have. They also offer very competitive rates, being a small business themselves they are able to meet all her needs on time which is very important. She finds them very knowledgeable and as a family business they can best represent her.
How do you exchange information with them?
- Barbara prefers to exchange all information via pen and paper and all hard copy, she is more then cable of using things such as the cloud service offered but does not like these methods. She submits her receipts to them all by dropping them in once a month and knows she can pick up a phone and speak to them any time she wants during office hours and speak to someone who knows her personally. She is not just a file number to them, if she used a larger firm.
If they offered an app you could use with your smart phone would you use it?
- No, Barbara prefers to use pen and paper, she feels these are safer and does not like the idea of her information being online. She is more than capable of using this but is not a fan of them.
Would you recommend Winton and Co to family and friends looking for similar services?
- Definitely yes, the personalised service and ease of speaking to them is perfect for a small business.
Are there any services you would like them to offer which they currently don't?
- No they provide every service she requires all in one place at a fantastic price.
